"The staff were helpful and very nice. Never ignorant. We liked that. We didn't like it that there was less in the breakfast room than last year, considering we paid $10 extra per person for 4 people, and that they had to unlock the door to let guests in. They also didn't get rid of the trash in the cans or change bags. No fresh towels in the bathroom after two being used. They also didn't change linens and make the beds while we were out for the day. "The location was ideal. Gorgeous view of the river. Walking and hiking opportunities nearby. Close to Brattleboro shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace."

"Smoke alarm randomly started beeping at 5am until around 6:15 got not apparent reason. I walked into main office to find nobody there I decided to pick customer phone at counter but got no response... Later at checkout counter assistant claimed that I never responded to his phone answer.... I'm deeply not satisfied."
