"The room was clean and spacious; it was just as described. The hotel staff is nice and friendly, always happy to help. We requested to leave a day early and they were very accommodating and accepted it without a problem. However, it felt completely pointless to have a kitchen with lots of cupboards that were completely empty! There was not a single plate or cutlery to use, let alone pots and pans! Either it is a self catering suite or it is simply a hotel room, in which case the cupboards are a waste of time. Having a kitchen was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, so that bit felt very disappointing. It was also a bit annoying that we were staying as a family but the sofa bed was not made and we had to request bedding."

"Good location. Walking distance or short ride-share to a lot of places. Front desk staff and concierge team was super friendly and helpful. Very spacious suites in the main building. Service/food/drinks at the main restaurant were great. The valet team charged my electric car for me."

"The guest relations front desk was unfriendly, and the housekeeping staff simply barged into our room without knocking. The parking fee was an outrageous $60 per stay, adding to the already expensive hotel room. It felt like a complete rip-off. "

"The lobby was nice, the pet service was nice. However, my room was underwhelming, unclean in some parts, especially for a 5-star hotel. There were some stains on the carpet and on the actual sink of the hotel, there were literal drain flies coming out. The caulking also looked old around the shower. We stayed only for 1 night hence not complaining as it was the only 2-bed available left for that day (we got moved). Too bad this happened as it was a perfect location. "

"The recent renovations make this Best Western seem like a great deal for the Sunset Blvd location. The breakfast buffet was decent: eggs, sausage, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The pool and patio area were beautiful--a great place to hang out in the sun or relax with friends in the evening. As a bonus, the hotel is walking distance from two comedy clubs."
