West Jakarta, Jakarta hotel rooms at the Independent

"Good Wi-Fi and nice large gym. Three restaurants with a nice breakfast buffet. There is even a small shopping mall at the rear of the hotel although it doesn’t have a lot of stores yet. It’s a good thing that the hotel is well equipped though because there is really nothing else in the area."

"The hotel lobby was in nice condition but upon seeing the room, we would’ve cancelled if possible. There are holes in the wall, stains on the sheets and the bathroom tiles were dirty. Would not recommend. "

"Excellent value for a short stay, rooms were large and service impeccable. If you are looking to live away from the Jakarta crowd yet close to most of the major attractions then this is the place for you"

"Well designed hotel with very good utilisation of space. However, sink leaks water whenever in use, wooden boards are terrorised by ants, hotel towels smells really bad, no hair dryer, hotel pool is greenish in colour and bedsheets and towels have stains.. lol it isn’t well maintained at all, just stay somewhere else.. hotel helped to spray some pesticide to kill ants but left wi try out even cleaning or clearing the corpses. I stayed 4 nights and the ants came back on the third night.. it’s safe to say that this place is absolutely disgusting. "
