โIt is very easy to get into Bury St Edmunds without a car, as the bus stop for the 84,86 service is next to the Cadogan Arms.with buses every 30 minutes. The staff are all very helpful and polite too. Plus such very comfy mattresses and good sized en-suite bathroom. The food is very good and very well presented too. Would I use the Cadogan Arms again certainly. โ
โGreat stay really quiet in the middle of nowhere which for us was great. Nature was all around us (rabbits everywhere) the only down side was the WiFi yes they are on copper cables but maybe they could do with a WiFi extender as we couldnโt get WiFi in our room but that does not detract from what a great place it was. โ
โWe were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly. Our bedroom was comfortable, the shower hot and the food delicious. The staff couldnโt have been nicer - my wife even felt like maybe we had found long lost family. โ

โMade to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.โ
โWe had a daytime event to attend in Cambridge, and needed to be away early in the morning. That made this property ideal for our needs. Free onsite or free on-street parking. Convenient shared area in kitchen/diner, with complimentary breakfast items meant that we could wake early and prep our own breakfast and get on the road promptly. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a lovely ensuite. Just what we needed. Also on a good walking and/or bus route to central Cambridge. โ
โOnly spent one night here but our room was really good (modern and felt new). Had everything we needed and bed/pillows really good. It was hot night but expected it with the nice weather (room did have a small cooling unit and we brought our own fan). Nice bar and restaurant attached. Would stay here again next time we come to Haverhill.โ
