“Drumbeg is a tiny town, but we were very pleased with our one-night stay. Owners were very courteous. We had one of the best dinners of our entire trip, alone with great food, great views, and Scottish music playing (everywhere else plays American music). Then we went to the bar for some drinks, good chats, and some pool. We even got a takeout breakfast since we left early. Would gladly stay there again.”

Walls are thin and could hear neighbors’ phone alarms and opening/closing room doors all morning. Unable to sleep after 5am. Dinner in the restaurant was fully booked by a large group when checking in. Would not stay here again.”

“Slightly odd self check in system, especially given I was thinking this would be a conventional bed-and-breakfast or guesthouse experience. We skipped the breakfast offered based on others' reviews. There are some nice options in Portree and other nearby coffee shops and bakeries. The room was spacious and functional. The location is convenient for anyone who just wants to get onto Skye without having to drive any further, especially if having driven from a long distance such as from Inverness....

“We spent one night in this beautiful and historic B&B, in a comfortable cosy room. The host was very welcoming, offering us a drink, suggesting places for dinner, and helping guide us to the ferry. Breakfast was wonderful and this set us up well before our ferry trip. The location was ideal and we would definitely stay here again.”

“I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...

“Perfect location, heating took a while to warm the pod, shower and bath both great. The sign is missing for parking so not obvious where you should park. Other than that it was almost a 5 out of 5! ”

“Double room was compact, amenities in room were fine. Window sash rattled all night and too hot to close. Breakfast was fine, sausage links would be an alternative to lorne sausage. Great position in town and that was main reason for booking.”
