This beautiful church is very near the Anne Frank House. The Westerkerk is a Reformed church within the Dutch Protestant church in central Amsterdam, Netherlands. It lies in the most western part of the Grachtengordel neighborhood, next to the Jordaan, between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. The Westerkerk was built between 1620 and 1631 in Renaissance style. Several older churches in Amsterdam, such as Oude Kerk and Nieuwe Kerk, were originally built before the Reformation and were converted to Protestantism during the Reformation in 1578. The Westerkerk was one of the first purposely built Protestant churches. The Noorderkerk and Zuiderkerk preceded the Westerkerk. Wonderful stay and they were so accommodating to my family. Sorry I missed the breakfast there but it looked yummy too . The room was spacious and very clean would stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam for its central location to museums and great restaurants, the downtown is also a pleasant walk . The staff were very helpful and got us settled quickly . Thanks

Lovely spacious room, nice chairs to sit for a coffee in the morning. Large comfy bed, good aircon, strong hot shower. Polite staff and plenty of free sweets.
