"The room and hotel were great. I do have a complaint. My 8 year old daughter was using the hair dryer and it sparked, shocked, and started smoking. We immediately called for assistance. I was very concerned for my daughter’s safety as well as whether there would be an issue with the hair dryer causing a fire. We were told someone would be there immediately but yet they never came. My husband went down to the front desk to be told that no one came in because of the do not disturb sign on our...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Powder House Lodge. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed use of the guest laundry. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious. "

"This hotel is older, our first floor room smelled vaguely like smoke. There was a Cheeto colored mark on our bedspread. The bed was clean other than that, shower was nice, beds were a little rickety but comfortable. Lots of pillows. We didn’t get to have breakfast but it looked really good. Overall it was an ok hotel. For the price we might have expected something a little nicer but there was nothing extra off putting about the hotel. "
