"The proprietors / staff here were charming, and obviously take a real pride in the hotel. Everything is immaculate - spotlessly clean and prettily presented. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and ours opened on to a terrace and a beautiful, peaceful garden. Lovely bedlinen, and - hallelujah! - no useless, grubby cushions on the bed (as some hotels still insist on doing). Breakfast was worth every cent of the €9 it cost. Parking was convenient - right outside the hotel - at only €2 extra. "

"The bathroom was somewhat dated. We had to wait to check out as the staff were busy with breakfast. Also, the restaurant was full on the second night so we had to go elsewhere for tea. It was a handy stopover from the motorway. "
