"Outstanding welcome from the owners. Fabulous location for the Cliff walk which was absolutely stunning. Little touches that made our stay special. Breakfast was amazing and the porridge was delicious! Off road safe parking👍 Our room was beautiful overlooking the mountains with a large veranda. More like a 5 star suite. Gorgeous room scents! "Carin and her husband and the rest of the staff at Oude schuur guesthouse were amazingly friendly and accommodating. They helped with getting us a car rental and made some excellent suggestions for dinner in the area. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, the room was spotless with daily housekeeping. We would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Hermanus area. The mountain views from our terrace were spectacular as well. Be sure to book several nights, because you won’t want to leave. We arrived as guests and left as friends."

"The hotel is in an excellent location. The room is clean with a great view. Amazing food Friendly staff Internet does not work. It almost does not exist. Even in the lobby I had to rely on my roaming service "

"Right from our check in and all the time we were there all the staff were so friendly and just excellent. Adrian was so friendly and could not have been more helpful The hotel itself was perfect for us, small, quiet and we just loved the relaxed atmosphere. They had a small bar area in the reception which works on an honesty basis. Just help yourself and make a note (Not very often you find that these days) Breakfast was just lovely and everything was so fresh and cooked to order. We liked the walk along the sea to all the restaurants and the taxi home only cost £2.00 We would definitely recommend and if we are ever in the area again, will come again and enjoy their warm hospitality. "
