The room had a very heavy smell of cooking oil. Our booking was for 5 nights and took at least 4 nights of venting the room and oder killers spray before the oder neutralised. Dried old paint flakes larger than a 50cent piece was peeling and hanging off the ceiling. The internal air conditioner units when turned smelted, I opened the front cover and the filters were blocked with dust and the dried paint flakes. The handbasin in the bathroom was semi blocked and would pond water for a long period of time when used.

The property needs updating in main lobby area. You are clearly coming in through the “back” of the property. elevators are outdated, , guest laundry was dirty and needs updating. Pool was lovely and views from the unit excellent. A small dishwasher would be most helpful….

Loved staying here rooms are big and clean and a beautiful view. All the staff are so friendly and very helpful and the coffee cart downstairs does a very nice coffee 😁

The apartments are huge with spectacular views from the large balcony. We were on the seventh floor. The least expensive units on the first 4 floors might have a somewhat less magnificent view. There is no restaurant but cold drinks, snacks and ice cream are available. The Reef View hotel a short walk away has a restaurant. The free shuttle buses are frequent. Hamilton Island is a great place to visit.

Great spot for relaxing vacation - although some advice: ask to be in a unit AWAY from the construction noise. They didn't start too early but we couldn't stay in our room during the day (putting a damper on afternoon naps for certain members of the group!)

Great large apartment with spectacular view overlooking catseye beach. Really enjoyed daily visits from the sulphur crested cockatoos and the sight of the kangaroos on the lawn. The free bus service makes everything easy to reach.

Great stay at the Whitsunday Apartments. What sets it apart is most likely the Front Reception staff who were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean and the fully kitted kitchen was a very great thing to have. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The balcony had cockatoo visitors for us who were very cute and well behaved with us and only politely asked us for food, to which we declined (and they didnt get angry about that). The pool and spa downstairs were very nice and the Green Bus stopping by at the doorstep really helped to get around the island, including picking up groceries. The Catseye beach across the road was also really nice to be so close to. The hotel also had a full air conditioned guest lounge that could be used for the whole day after checkout - this was excellent and highly appreciated. Some things to improve would be: 1. Better cleanliness of the lounge sofa. 2. Better furniture arrangement - needed to let us know we needed binoculars to see the views from the balcony AND the small TV on the far other end of the lounge from the sofa. 3. Better cleanliness of the balcony furniture. 4. A fridge and microwave in the guest lounge. All up an awesome stay.

Not enough eatery everything is too expensive entertainment, need more entertainment, nightlife everything either closes too early, or don’t open at all the resort the resort great with Sunday resorts great, but just needs to be seated for all ages

The location and view is great. However the rooms were a bit old and dirty. We saw a lot of cockroaches in the room as well as a baby lizard in the bathroom. The tables in our apartment were sticky as well. The sheets were dirty when we first arrived. The shower also overflowed due to a blocked drain and had to use our towels to dry up all the excess water leaking through the bathroom. Would not stay here again.

Whitsundays is the cherry on top
Whitsunday Apartments was the perfect location for us. The property sits up on a hill that affords you wonderful water views from an expansive balcony. The cockatoos are calling the kangaroos are grazing and the water is oh so inviting. Upon arrival you’re warmly greeted by name and promptly checked-in. The suite is very spacious! A fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and a heavenly bed - perfection! If you rent a buggy, there’s ample parking throughout the stay. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the reception desk clerks are very helpful.

Waikiki in Queensland
Its like a mini Waikiki but better. Couldn't fault it. Weather was fabulous. Not many people here ( due to cyclone couple days ago) so it was lovely and quiet.
