"The restaurant is top notch and the chef is a classically trained executive chef and prepares lots of creative and exciting dishes. This was my second trip there in less than two months and I would stay there every time I come to the Portland area! What makes the hotel so unique is there Japanese style onsen! It is a large soaking pool 2 feet deep filled with hot water where you just relax. For Americans, it might be a little bit intimidating because you go in there naked! But there are separate pools for men and women. After you try it the first time, you’ll go back again and again. And the hotel rooms? The hotel rooms are superior a first class! In incredibly large rooms, larger than a standard hotel room anywhere in the United States. The amenities are awesome. The shower and bath are awesome, you will not leave this hotel disappointed in any way shape or form. When I went in there, I checked in early and fell down on the bed and fell asleep for an hour and a half. I woke up and felt like $1 million. This is an extraordinary place to stay."

"I stayed in this Holiday Inn Hotel for 3 days with my family and my room never got cleaned. They only replaced the towel. When I approached the front desk I was told that I had to request for service to get it cleaned. So I was disappointed but next time I know to request for services which can be annoying. "

"Breakfast was great. The 24 hr coffee bar guarantees Ill stay here again. The pool area was constantly out of towels. They were supposed to clean our room every other day, but only came once during our week stay when I went to the front desk for clean towels and TP. Otherwise the rooms are nice. "

"Our room had a big stain on the carpet and I don't know what it was but it was old for sure. You could tell that the hotel tried to clean it but it would not come off. Still it was nasty. Pillowcase had a mark on it. It was laundered for sure but I'm not so certain that fabric with marking should be reused. Carpet in common hallway was very very old and in need of desperate update. It seems like they use a unique cleanser to clean the hotel as it had a pungent odor that was not terribly Pleasant. The soap in our hotel room left me with an itch. I'm not certain if the soap was old or if something was wrong with it. Free breakfast was free but very basic. Parking was free. I'm saying this is a get what you pay for a situation. It is a fair option for those on a budget, location was safe and not far from downtown. There is a fitness room and a swimming pool. We use the fitness room but it stunk seriously. There is a freshwater with a water filter in the fitness room. The water filter was blinking that it needed to be changed. Water tasted strange but I'm not sure if this is just a flavor of Portland Water. This is one of those hotels where despite what I have written above I would still stay again just in a different room. "
