I truly had such a lovely stay here and didn’t want to leave! From the moment I arrived, Miguel made me feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. Yes room is very nice, clean & checkin host was pleasant. I’m holding one star because the shower faucets are definitely European style so not easy for good old American to use. Explaining how to use would be helpful.

We stayed one night, we arrived on kings day April 26th! The property and the staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful navigating the national holiday. Willemstad is a true gem, and we are so glad we stayed in town one night before heading to our all inclusive. We can’t wait to be back!

Lovely little hotel. Close to local activities, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were warm and welcoming. It doesn’t have a private beach like some of the resorts on Curaçao, but it has a private pool. It’s not the quietest spot around, so be warned if you have an early bedtime and sleep lightly. Would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and the pool area is lovely and quiet. The larger Kura Hulanda area has nice shops and restaurants and the excellent slave trade museum. The larger Otrabanda neighborhood is full of colourful art and murals. Great base to explore the city.

Great stay

Great stay! The hotel is centrally located yet quiet. Charming layout, helpful staff. Relaxing pool area w sun and shade. There’s a parking lot near the hotel, no more than a two minute walk. Only thing I would do differently is not get the breakfast included. There are better options to be had in the area.

Really loved this hotel --- quiet, relaxed, beautiful grounds, and an extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and engaging staff. As part of a small village with dining, retail, and amenities close by, everything needed was just steps away. And yet, just a few steps further, the iconic views of Willemstad. We also enjoyed these views from the balcony of our 2nd story rooms. I highly recommend a stay at Kura Botanica.

Pleasant surprise

I generally sought out local boutique hotels in my travel. Love the staff, esp Miguel. The hotel has a different vibe not like chain hotels. The rooms are nicely appointed with a giant bathroom. The landscaping felt like a luscious garden. Being inside the Kura Hulanda was a plus.
