Keeping in mind that I'm reviewing a La Quinta and not a high-end five star hotel, I give full marks to La Quinta Williamsburg for being exactly what it is supposed to be: a reasonably priced, safe and clean hotel, with a friendly staff, a simple breakfast buffet, located very close to Historic Williamsburg ( 4-5 minute drive), and very convenient to both Jamestown and Yorktown, if you're doing the "Historic Triangle." The hotel is a 3 minute drive to a road lined with a variety of restaurants, and is next door to a 7-11 gas station. It was a very convenient location for us, and I'll happily stay here again if we visit the area in the future.

This was a fairly run down hotel in desperate need of a renovation. The breakfast was good. Housekeeping was by request only which was odd to me. This is minor but they also need more luggage carts.

The price was good. The location is convenient The room was dirty. Actually found a dirty plastic spoon beside bed and partial painted toe nail on rug. Rooms are not serviced daily due to Covid 19. This hotel is falling apart. Paint peeling in our room, chipped toilet, shower head sprays all over, AC in room didn’t work. There was an active leak from the roof in the hallway, dripping directly onto an AC unit. They had a towel laid over it as remedy. Pool is starting to turn green, and looks bad. Hotel was clean and staff was kind. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel.
