An okay inexpensive motel. Clean and relatively quiet except the door hinges to Room 2 needs to be oiled.
Good luck trying to watch anything on the TV.
Comfortable friendly stay. As cyclists we appreciate the extra large room as we keep our bikes with us overnight. This is our favourite motel for our annual cycling visit.
Convenient location - ten minutes to entry gate at Point Pelee NP (20 minutes to visitors’ centre). Close to fast food, groceries, fuel. Free parking available. Double Queen room was very spacious, included full-size fridge/freezer. Daily housekeeping was included. Had a bulb burn out one morning and it was replaced within 10 minutes.
The motel is older at an exterior glance, but my room was nicely updated. The bathroom was clean, the shower had excellent pressure and the bed was comfortable. As a short stay motor court motel, it fit my needs. I suppose a coffee maker would have been nice, but there is a 7-11 directly adjacent, making hot coffee, 24 hours daily.
It’s a motel so it’s obviously not luxurious but it was very clean very quiet and peaceful. We needed one night and we were leaving 6:00am so we didn’t want to pay no absolutely ridiculous $300 per night Days Inn rate so this was perfect. If you just need a place to stay this is nice. Stove, full fridge, microwave and 7/11 right next door.
Manager was fantastic, he was polite, personable and accommodating. He even offered me a free room upgrade, likely in part due to the fact that the property wasn’t full, but still, that went a long way with me and I would look this property up if I am back in the future.
The room was pretty clean, the beds were reasonably comfortable but the pillows could use replacing. Overall this property was very good, not the Ritz but good value for the money!
Spent 3 nights in May 10-13 birding in Peele. I chose this Motel as most reviewers said it is clean and the price is comparatively more reasonable. The other hotels I used to stay are now asking for $300-400 a night. I am happy with my stay. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly.. It has a microwave, a large fridge with freezer. Will return next year.
