"I felt catfished. The pillowcases in the room were visibly dirty, the bed frame squeaked every time you moved. The lock on the door was loose. The room itself was poorly maintained. It looked like a sloppy paint job, there was painters tape still on the door hinges and latch for the bathroom door. The bathroom cabinet and dressers in the room were badly scratched as was the frame around the full length mirror. Some furniture had pieces missing out of them. The shower contraption looked high end at first glance but when you got in the shower you could see the black paint had been chipped away on the handles and there were hard water stains on the shower head and attachments. The bathroom sink had no counter top space at all making it difficult to place a toothbrush or toiletry bag in the bathroom.
On the positive: the parking was free, the air conditioning in the room worked, and there appeared to be cereal and coffee in the breakfast area. The person behind the counter always greeted us when we walked in.
I would not stay here again especially given the nightly cost. Given the condition, this room should have been less than I$100/night, not closer to $200."
"The afternoon staff (I don't recall her name) was excellent! Extremely help!!! Understanding. When you think of a customer service representative, she's the person you want!"
"The truck traffic all night long is horrible with trucks loud exhausts and engine breaking all night long. We stayed on the 4th floor and the carpet looks to be deteriorating and as you walk on it white dust from the cement under it blows out of it and the carpet has white concrete dust all over it. The walls in hallway are all in horrible shape with wallpaper peeling and wrinkled. The entire corridor on the 4th floor has a sewerage smell. The beds were lumpy and were terribly uncomfortable. Without a doubt the worst Hilton named TRU property I have ever stayed at."
"We booked three rooms for the week, Mon-Fri. Upon arrival, we found trash inside and outside our rooms and in the walkways such as spoons on the floor and a cup of brown liquid with stuff in it. The sheets on one of our beds were dirty/stained. The door locks were being changed when we arrived which was an inconvenience for everyone. The front desk was unaware of which locks were done and which ones weren't. The locks that were changed were left in the walkways for two days. The floors were sticky and the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals so we had to choose between smelling the manure outside or the overwhelming chemicals inside. One of the attractions we looked forward to was the pool, but that was closed for the week due to construction. The construction started early in the morning right outside our rooms including the noisy operation of a manlift every day. We appreciated the breakfast but even that was somewhat disappointing. Coffee cups didn't match the lids, the creamer was out, coffee wasn't ready, sausage and eggs were crusty. The fridges hummed very loudly at night. The Wifi worked for the first night and then it was out the rest of the week. The bathrooms don't have fans to manage the steam. The remotes to the TVs were difficult to use. The cart used to clean rooms was rolled right outside our window waking us up. The three parts of the stay that we liked were: basic needs were met, the hotel location was perfect, and staff seemed eager and happy to help"
"I wasn’t anticipating much but a clean room based on reviews when I booked the hotel. But I was pleased and so were the other 3 people. Breakfast was good. The rooms were very spacious. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel and rooms were clean. The elevator was working and fast. I understand Marriot bought them hopefully they keep most everything the same."
