“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy.

“The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful.
Evening meal was superb.

“Disappointing.
On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows.
No WiFi in the room.
Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.”

“Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.”
