I've just spent five days on the Grand Pacific Drive starting in Wollongong. I would highly recommend this for a road trip as it passes through the cutest little towns; Kiama, Shoalhaven, Shellharbour and Southern Highlands. Make sure you grab a feed at the Hungry Monkey in Kiama, visit Bombo Quarry, waterfalls in the Highlands and Greenfields Beach is adorable! Oh, and Pilgrim cafe and Diggies cafe. So much to see, do and eat!

Took a roadtrip down and checked it out. I really loved the dramatic contract between the misty mountains, apartment building, and the sunny ocean. Pretty neat place!
Wollongong Harbour is only a short drive from my home and on this particular afternoon I could see that something special was going to happen with the light. Short on time I quickly came down here to the Historic Lighthouse and watched the sky do unforgettable things. A great place to come with the family or friends for a walk and picnic :) #goldenhour

Good twin room. Clean and spacious. Window view of beach and golf course. Lucked out with car park space outside the hotel for free. Hotel does its own for $25 or in the WIN Stadium car park. You can also park on the side streets before and after 7 for free.

Air con was fine, you do need in that room in summer as gets very hot. Staff were fine.Parking was good, I think you need to get there early though at the weekend as it gets busy later.
