"Booked this hotel on the same day as our original plans got cancelled ,not sure if thats why the price was so low.I emailed hotel ahead and asked if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade ( it was actually our wedding anniversary) Had a lovely email back within the hour wishing us a happy Anniversary and upgrading us, which we were thrilled with.
Room was lovely ,slightly cold but we switched the portable fan on and were soon lovely and warm.There was a loud humming noise throughout the night which was slightly annoying ( no idea what it was)Bed super comfy and pillows & quilt were of very high standard.Tea & coffee facilities & toiletries
The pub itself closes early on a Sunday night which we wasn't aware of untill we received an email, would of loved to have tried the food but hey ho
Staff were lovely on the evening, very helpful and friendly and so was the young lady at breakfast.Included in our price was breakfast also which was delicious.
All in all our wedding anniversary turned out very nice in the end .Would highly recommend this hotel & cant wait to return and enjoy an evening meal this time
