Although they are not always good at speaking japanese, their daughter who works Taiwan Branch of a japanese company kindly helped translation by cellular phone with fluent japanese.โ
โGreat place for onsen outside usual popular locations. Place gives an upmarket feel and provides good quality. Very impressed with Breakfast buffet and Dinner buffet.
Getting here will require a car ride as it is literally in the middle of nowhere. Has a 7-11 (opens till 2200) within 2 mins walk. A 24-H Hi-Life convenient store will require a drive out.โ
โMost priorities to selecting the hotel to me is including a gym (additionally, swimming pool too.) or not.
It has both of them. (But multiple chest fly, pull up machine have to be repaired.)
Even though overall facilities are little old, but I satisfied for all.
Especially the displayed car at the lobby was sooo cool. And there is huge park just in front of the hotel!

โWe had an enjoyable stay in Chi Meng Rou. The owner gave us complimentary upgrade to a bigger room as our Deluxe Room was under renovation. The view around the hotel is great as it is surrounded by strawberry farms.
If you are driving, you just have to keep a lookout for the signs and small road leading to the hotel, as it is not situated along the main road.
The hotel serves simple but delicious breakfast. We also had a taste of home-made strawberry jam.
The owner was also very helpful...
