Service was great, breakfast was good. But we asked for a third bed and got a mattress only! That wasn’t the best. An actual folding bed would have been better so all beds are of the same height.

The shared spaces and helpfulness of the staff are what made this a nice stay. The room was disappointing; very plain, the sheets looked a little dirty, outlets few and not well placed. The bathroom also had water on the floor when we arrived and you couldn’t sit forward on the toilet without putting your feet in the shower. The hotel grew on me though because the shared spaces were pretty, well shaded, and nice to hang out in. The pool was very refreshing and there were a couple funny cats who hung out around the space. The free breakfast was okay. I did appreciate being able to buy a cappuccino at the cafe/bar in the mornings. The staff were also very kind and helpful and they provided mineral water everyday. The location was okay, not the most interesting area but not too remote.

Great stay overall

Great stay here, they helped us book a tour and did laundry. The pizza is tasty they serve on site. The pool was nice and great for cooling down

wij zijn hier ook in 2018 geweest en toen had ik een opmerking over de badkamer. maar nu in 2019 zijn wij hier weer geweest en de badkamers zijn helemaal gerenoveerd en heel mooi geworden en de geisers zij nu buiten aan de muur gemonteerd en niet meer in de badkamer zelf. en verder is de slaap/woonvertrek ook gemoderniseerd. in een woord gezegd geweldig

Simple and nice

Booked a room for three people. They basically crammed in a mattress between the two beds, but it worked fine. Fairly clean, some encounters with spiders in the bathroom. Very nice stepping out of the room in the morning right into a pretty garden. Nice and clean pool. The breakfast was very spartan, mostly noodles and some bread. Only instant coffee. Overall we were happy with our stay!

Beau séjour

Bel hôtel près du centre, personnel courtois, souriant prêt à rendre tous les services possibles. Le jardins avec la piscine sont vraiment beau et agréables, c’est même plus joli que sur les photos du site. Grande chambre avec lit confortable. La seule critique concerne la salle de bain, particulièrement à porte à l’interieure où il y a de la moisissure. J’ai constaté que dans plusieurs hôtel il y a ce problème dû au fait que la douche n’a pas de porte ou rideau, donc l’eau va dans toute la pièce.

Nice Indonesian style Hotel, close to city center

I had a very basic room on the first floor on the back side. The rooms on the garden site are much nicer. My room was run down, would need fresh painting on the wall, the bathroom looked dirty and the gas heater was not working properly, either burning hot, or cold water. The room was cleaned every day, only deep cleaning would needed. The breakfast buffet was nice and enough for the whole day. The garden and the swimming pool are beautiful. All in all it was a good experience thanks to the committed hotel staff. Safety boxes are available free of charge. After a proper redecoration this hotel could became a boutique hotel.

Simple, inexpensive but needs improvement!

The location itself was great – short ride to Malioboro, the hotel had a very resorty look to it, calm, surrounded by trees and plants – but the room was very small, very basic and on the 1st or 2nd floor. Few observations: • Looked like a new construction – people are still working in diff areas – cutting trees, maintenance etc; no lights in and around the pool area; menu is not very elaborate; plug points hanging out inside the room. • Not many people speak English – so, it’s harder to explain and be understood. • Although I had already paid for the standard room, the hotel staff was very flexible. They allowed me to tour the other available types of room and even upgraded us to a deluxe room at no extra cost! Kudos to that. • Restaurant menu is very moderately priced. One of the very few places where beer is available! • Very basic continental breakfast plus white rice and local dishes – loved it! • Pedal or motorcycle rickshaws available right outside the hotel for nearby locations • Beware of mosquitos and other creepy crawlies in the bathroom, in the patio/in the property etc. • The most annoying thing for me was the shower! When you open the shower handle, there would be a HUGE flame inside the shower unit, heating the water instantly and delivering it instantly in 1 flow. So, this had to be repeated several times during shower, with intermittent cold water showers.

Très bonne adresse

Hôtel très propre et très sérieux avec une très jolie piscine. Navette aéroport gratuite, le chauffeur nous attendait à l'aéroport. Il ne manque qu'un frigo dans la chambre pour que ce soit parfait

Nice hotel with pool away from noisy streets

The hotel was very pretty, the garden making up for the somewhat tired rooms and beds. The staff were very attentive and the free breakfast was plentiful, with some variation in the hot dishes every day. A little noisy when people were playing in the pool and at call to prayer time but otherwise reasonably quiet.

Nice gardens and pool. Good solid breakfast. Bed hard as nails. Sink blocked so won't drain. Restaurant food poor. A/c poor as room too hot. Noisy call to prayer next door so 4am wake up call even with ear plugs. Long way from tourist spots. Not many places to eat near by. Room infested with ants. Seats on balcony too hard so can only sit for 10mins as painfull and bitten by mozzies. Staff discreet but helpful. Ok to stay here if on budget or transit.

At the city center

As the hotel is at the city center, it is very convenient to travel around. There are quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. 24 hours supermarket and convenient store give another plus point for the hotel location. Visitors can explore the nearby area easily and the location is about 30 mins walk away from the famous Malioboro Street. Moreover, hotel location is very near to the Royal Palace. I can surely recommend this hotel due to its reasonable price and good location. As I only stay for 2 nights, it is hard for me to comment on the hotel services. Hotel facilities, condition, room cleanliness and room comfort are within acceptable range. It would be good if the hotel can provide a better blanket instead of a thin sheet of cloth.

Great service, but quality of room can be improved

The hotel is more like a resort, and I like it that they provide simple breakfast from as early as 6.30am. However, I do wish they provides a little variety on different days. The side dishes were different but we had to eat nasi goreng (fried rice) or plain rice every day. They could have included other items such as sausages, noodles or eggs (this, we had to request and they will prepare). As for the room, it was small for 3 pax but that was fine with me. There was no holder for the toilet paper, and no hooks to hang our clothes while in the shower. Though the staff was prompt in making up the room each day, they were not very thorough and there were dirty corners. Since I could avoid those places, I could let it go. Wifi connection in the lobby was strong and stable, but not in the room. Overall, it was an ok experience for me. There were good points about the hotel, and some little improvements to make to delight the customer. I appreciate that they gave us a welcome tea on Day 1. That was a nice thought.
