Parking at the hotel was too expensive. It was valet parking, we went to load the car & the drivers door had been left open for 3 days. Bed & pillows weren't very comfortable. Was nice to be able to open a window to air the room. Heating & hot was excellent.

This hotel was roughly 15 minutes or less walking distance from all the main attractions in York. Great to walk out and see the castle right in front. The rooms were clean and decent size for the double bed room, and had pleasant staff. The included breakfast had a nice assortment of hot and cold food options. I didn't like that WIFI is an addition, but I believe that's standard amongst Hilton chains, and not specific to this location. (Although the city is so quaint we didn't need it.) Some good restaurants around it as well. We had a great stay in York!

The property is very close to the on-off bus which we really enjoyed. It is close to the York Museum which is absolutely a must see. We walked a lot in York and found our location to be acceptable. If you are not a big “walker”, then you might want to stay closer to the center. The hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The valet attendants were friendly. Valet parking is kind of pricey but pretty average for our experience in the UK. Room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel.
