"Was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of this property for the price we paid, recently decorated large comfy room at the front of the property and a very good sized bathroom. One member ofcstaff stands out (sadly didng get his name) who on checkin facilitated a room change 120 to 118, as original room overlooked a noisy kitchen. One point to note, take an eye mask, rooms have a very bright ceiling light for smoke/fumes detector that you cant turn off. "

"An elegant room with a spacious en-suite, and a large comfortable bed. Fluffy towels provided with additional ones when using the spa. A modest spa with pool, jacuzzi sauna and steam room, but perfectly clean and welcome on a rainy afternoon. All the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant with top marks going to the reception girls. A lovely stay- thank you"

"All great apart from the water pressure in the shower which was extremely poor"

"Could not sleep because of noise from drying room, toilet flush was faulty, no night time reception to complain about noise. When i checked out at 05.00am (because of the noise) the man at reception actually laughed at my misfortune, How Rude!! I have been promised my money back and i am still waiting."

"Stayed for 1 night in small double (room was still a good size). Hotel is really well located. Have stayed here a few times and always provides value and a good experience."

"There were positives and negatives to our stay. The public areas and bar area were welcoming, clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and polite. While our room was clean and comfortable it was very much in need of a refurb. The bathroom was clean and functional but very tatty in places, especially the window area. Toiletries were provided, but as only product was a combined hand wash, body wash and shampoo they couldn’t be described as luxurious. Our main disappointment was when we were woken before 8am as workman were working on the unoccupied rooms along our corridor. This included removing the furniture into the corridor and taking up the carpets. We were not informed at check-in that the work was planned. The hotel is in a quiet area of Harrogate just 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Ample onsite parking although there is a £12/night charge. "
