"We had a good stay at the Yorkshire overall. The room was quite hot and the fan was not sufficient at times however the bed was comfortable and the amenities OK. The room is a little dated but nothing disturbing. The parking situation can be a little frustating but we had no major issues."
"We thought the room was lovely. Well decorated with lots of nice touches. The two staff I spoke to were polite and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the beach. The parking was quite easy in the multi store in the precinct. The room was clean but could do with a few finishing touches, like for example a hole in the floor which had been filled in but not finished off properly. The bathroom needs a blind at the window. The shower gel bottle in the bathroom was empty. Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that."
"Wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. We visited the area to go to a music event. We chose the Grand as have always admired the beautiful building. On arrival check in was quick and staff smart, helpful and caring. Room clean and comfortable. Although we only stayed one night the following morning we were able to use the communal areas within the hotel. The beach view from the terrace and restaurant are fantastic. Lots of space to either be alone and enjoy or chat amongst other guests if you are a social person. Cleaning happening all the time through hotel and staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back"
"It was okay, but not as good as expected.
Pros: The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was okay and the shower had decent water pressure.
Rooms more premium than "standard" benefit from late checkout (1PM), which was great.
Cons:
The underground car park was full on my arrival, with additional cars parked outside the bays- I had to park somewhere else.
The room had no AC.
The breakfast buffet was rather disappointing."
"Great price , room was on the top floor and a really good size. Some parts of the property need updating but all in all worth the money. Staff were excellent."
