Great budget hotel

Was given a room in a newly constructed part of the hotel which had all new furniture and was very comfortable. Nice and quiet as it was away from the main pool area. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay

What can i say....this hotel saved our holiday in zante after a horrendous first day in the "5star" hotel Cavo Orient Hotel!! The Mariana hotel made our stay fun and relaxing. Hotel staff were great and very helpful during our stay. Would definitely come back. Thanks to Pete and Naomi for your hospitality.

Overall, Marian Hotel is a decent choice, though with some considerations. The hotel seems to attract mostly younger guests, so it may not be the best option for families. The breakfast options are limited, but the lady managing it was very cooperative and did her best to accommodate us. The rooms were okay, though the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, which could be improved. The price feels a bit high compared to the services offered. Additionally, a €100 deposit is required for potential damages, which is fully refunded if everything is in satisfactory condition upon checkout. Be aware that air conditioning and Wi-Fi require an additional daily fee. One downside was that some of the younger guests were quite noisy at night, which affected the overall experience.

Ottima posizione per raggiungere la via principale di Laganas a piedi. L’hotel era bello, anche le stanze carine, bella piscina. Unico problema della pulizia è che la stanza appena consegnata era pulita ma poi in una settimana di soggiorno non è stata pulita neanche una volta, venivano solo cambiati i sacchetti dei cestini e gli asciugamani. In reception c’è scritto “fare silenzio dalle 22:00” cosa che non veniva rispettata e spesso c’era rumore e schiamazzi all’interno dell’hotel tutta la notte. In generale comunque il soggiorno è stato piacevole e il personale dell’hotel gentile e disponibile.

Sämsta hotellet jag varit på mariana hotel

Extrem dålig service. Fanns ingen hårfön och skulle man ha det i rummet så kostade det 3 euro per natt. Wifi 5 euro per natt för varje enhet. Men det var inte det sjukaste. Spela BILJARD kostade 2 euro per SPEL???? Jag har aldrig hört om ett 3 stjärnigt hotell med allt detta och deras frukost var dålig och dom letade efrer fel hela tiden för att kunna ta pengar ifrån oss. Ett sänglakan blev lite snutsig och dom ville dra bort 20euro från handpenningen vi gav i början? Dom är helt dumma i huvudet och vi gick runt till andra restaurwnger i närhet för frukost osv. Även dom hwr hört massa dåligt från andra personer om det hotellet

All'arrivo il personale ci ha fatto aspettare 20 minuti perché erano ignari della nostra prenotazione (fatta con Expedia). Contrariamente a quanto indicato su Expedia, aria condizionata e wifi non sono incluse e devono essere pagate a parte con supplemento. Abbiamo usato la nostra biancheria perché le lenzuola e gli asciugamani erano sporchi. Personale inadeguato alla gestione di una struttura alberghiera, in particolar modo il personale della reception e del bar fronte piscina. Il nostro checkout è durato 40 minuti, perché oltre al controllo di routine della nostra stanza per la restituzione della caparra, si era creato un altro problema in un'altra stanza e hanno preferito risolvere prima l'altro problema mentre noi aspettavamo. La caparra ci è stata restituita ma nemmeno si sono scusati per l'attesa. Credo che Expedia debba verificare le informazioni che i gestori pubblicano (banalmente le recensioni potrebbero essere tenute in considerazione) perché il suo buon nome potrebbe risentirne. L'albergo è frequentato da molti inglesi come tutta la zona che prolungavano le loro feste fino a tarda notte con rumore senza il minimo intervento della direzione. Tra l'altro il desk di reception era presidiato solo dalle 9 alle 18, per il resto non c'era nessuno. Il servizio del bar è a dir poco pessimo, abbiamo atteso 30 minuti per 2 nescaffe. La struttura è inadatta a coppie o famiglie ma è indirizzata a chi si ubriaca facendo festa fino al mattino perché non c'è controllo.

This is the WORST hotel in Zakynthos.

THIS HOTEL is the worst hotel in Zakynthos. That is because ●All my clothes were stolen. I reported the hotel staffs, but they DIDN'T support and DIDN'T find my clothes at all. ●All cameras in this hotel doesn't work. So I couldn't find a thief. ●Check in and check out took too much time. I had to be stayed at the reception for about an hour. I missed the tour because of this hotel. ●We can use wifi only the pool side. And this wifi often didn't work. Also very very slow. If we can use wifi in our room, we must pay much extra money. That's why this is the WORST hotel I've stayed all hotels in my life. Please don't stay Mariana hotel. このホテルは絶対に泊まらない方がいいです。理由は ●干していた服は盗まれました。監視カメラがホテルにあるから調べてくれと言っても作動していないから無理だと言われ、何もしてくれませんでした。 ●チェックインとチェックアウトの手続きがかなり遅いです。1時間以上待たされた挙句、ピックアップに間に合わずツアーにも参加できなかったです。従業員も怠慢です。 ●WiFiがプールサイドでしか使えず、自分の部屋で使う場合は余分にお金を払えと言われました。HPにそのようなことはないと聞いたにも関わらず、払わないと使わせないとの一点張りでした。プールサイドのWiFiもかなり遅く、時間が経ってばすぐにパスワードも変えられてしまうので、30分も連続で使えません。 値段以下の最低のホテルでした。みなさんが別のホテルでザキントスを楽しませることを願います。

Money making scam

Do not stay in Hotel Mariana, Laganas. Greeted by the two rudest and non approachable members of staff I have ever encountered, not sure how they acquired a job working in the service sector. I travelled with 3 other friends and we were all immediately required to provide a €50 euro breakage deposit, each, despite the website being unclear of this policy; it states just €50. Disgusting. As soon as we arrived at he hotel an eighth of our spending money had been given to Hotel Mariana which was returned at the end of the holiday; what is the use of being reimbursed €50 each at the end of the holiday? Moreover, the hotel owners, two males, were completely hostile upon arrival and clearly had no intention to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Abruptly being told that I wasn’t allowed my own bottle of water beside the pool in almost 30 degrees heat? Outrageous. All refreshements and food had to be purchased from the hotel bar, whom charged €2 for one bottle of water; I suppose we could have afforded to buy one bottle of water per day if we were not obligated to pay €50 each upfront for no valid reason. Expedia states on their website that Hotel Mariana has wifi - perfect! But, of course, the money orientated hotel required guests to purchase an item from the bar in exchange for the wifi password. Upon recieving the password, one of the male owners voices a sarcastic, arrogant comment ‘I can’t even get on the wifi’ - at least the staff at Hotel Mariana are professional.

Awful!

Please do not go to this hotel, id rather sleep on the beds at the beach then spend it here again. The staff was rude, expecially the Australian owner who pretends to be head of security. You cant drink in the room, you cant let anyone into the room unless theyve paid to stay, theres no reception so if you arrive at 5am like we did and expect to be accomodated for think again. Your in the lobby. The litter is diabolical, im suprised the plague hasnt hit that hotel hard. Please stay away

Personale maleducato, camere poco pulite, assenza di aria condizionata e per averla ho dovuto pagare un supplemento di 50 euro, assenza di phon,rumore in stanza, addette pulizia che facevano un baccano insopportabile la mattina presto parlando tra di loro, frigorifero rumorosissimo stile anni 30, camera rumorosa e poco pulita, non cambiavano gli asciugamani tutti i giorni e solo una volta le lenzuola in una settimana! Non accettano carte di credito nel 2017! SCONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Worst hotel ever!

Mark my words. DO NOT STAY HERE! They penny-pinch you for everything! 7euro per night for air conditioning. 35euro per person/per week.. which barely even works! They don't give you the password, they type it in themselves so when it doesn't connect, you have to go to the bar area for them to type it in again! The managers and workers hang out by the bar playing on their phones and laptops in casual clothes. The place is very noisy!!!! Children are constantly screaming past midnight. You can hear loud drunks everywhere. There was a gieco crawling on the walls. And the room wrenched of a really old building. Do not waste your money Bc the manager, peter will not cooperate with you. He does not care if you leave Bc he already got paid. Horrible service. Horrible property. This is more like a MOTEL not hotel.

Owners are very rude, we had problems with our air conditioner and the exact words were "you get what you pay for" from the owner. Rooms look absolutely nothing like the images. Just imagine all the room furniture without decorations or ornaments. It's very plain. You are charged extra for air con. Upon arrival they will take 50€ from you as a damage deposit due to the type of customers they get (this hotel is just on the end of the clubbing strip so lots of young people getting drunk and partying throughout the night). Do not book this hotel if you wish to bring children, nude women images posted all over the bar. Pool is filthy. Breakfast is not cooked, you'll be lucky if they even microwave the bacon. The Wi-Fi is not free. You must buy a drink to get the Wi-Fi password everyday as they change the password daily. Do not recommend this hotel whatsoever.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Had to pay €50 upfront each incase we damaged the rooms. There was no staff on the front desk to check us in, another guest advised us we have to go over the bar grab a member of staff to check us in. There is about 3 members of staff and there is no one manning the front desk so there is no one to ask questions or if you needed help you had to literallygo looking. Towels where not replaced you get one towel each. Tv air and air con and wifi you have to pay for! You only get wifi if you buy a drink at the hotel and you do not get a code they enter it in manually and it only lasts for a few hours! So every day you would ideally have to buy a drink to renew the wifi code! The island was beautiful and luckily we were out every day so didn't spend to much time in the hotel but definitely would NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN! Also the staff try and ban you from buying food and drink to put in your room which is ridiculous ! They have signs in the room advising you not to do this unless It's purchased from their small crusty bar! Me and my friend are young and 20 years old we didn't go to party we explored different parts of the island and I felt so small and used in this hotel! Would not stay there is no customer service and I feel like we were ripped of by staying in this hotel!the balcony was nice that's about it and the pool.
