Perfect for a couple of nights

It was very quiet which was nice although more isolated than expected and seemed to cater more for business groups etc than holiday makers, perfect for a couple of nights. Lounge staff in particular very friendly. Breakfast was great. The single rooms were oddly shaped and difficult to relax in despite looking very nice.

We had a 2 night stay with 2 rooms for the 4 of us. Check-in was ok. Breakfast could run low on items. Not a huge variety. Loved the location though. Beautiful, very green and quiet. Staff was friendly. Overall pleasant stay.

Sometimes a hotel exceeds expectation. I was staying one night as part of a business trip. To find the hotel in a wood was a pleasant surprise. The Staff are great, Te Rooms very comfortable and the restaurant offers excellent meals at good value. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel and its grounds. Next time

Excellent place to stay in the hotel residing at a large estate. You can start walking in the wood directly when you leave the hotel. Very good breakfast and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was unfortunate that the room was a bit dark and the heating did not work well. But nevertheless we would go back in the future.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting with easy parking. The AC in the room is awesome. The staff is very friendly. That is where the positives end. The negatives are numerous. There is very little water pressure in the shower. The walls and ceiling are very thin and we could here people walking and banging around until very late at night, not to mention early in the morning. We were in the front of the hotel and could hear every car, suitcase rolling and people talking outside starting quite early in the morning. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst I have ever seen. It was very limited and the prepared food was not edible. I would avoid a stay at this hotel, if at all possible.

The uniqueness of this hotel was the restaurant only had 1 choice of food for an evening meal! Apart from that, the hotel was gorgeous set in the woods, however it is a 10 minute drive into Zeist if you need a meal.

Most disappointing hotel stay of the year. The pictures show a nice, light and spacious hotel room while the ACTUAL room looked like a basic dorm room. Small, dark and very basic. The bathroom has paint peeling of the cabinets. When addressed at the front desk, a simple shrug of the shoulders was the response. No apology, no change of rooms, no compensation. Simply weird experience

We kregen eerst kamer 208 toegewezen en toen we de kamerdeur open deden, kwamen we tot de vreselijke vaststelling dat die nog niet gepoetst was. Dat is een akelig zicht. Onmiddellijk terug naar receptie en dit vriendelijk gemeld waardoor de dame onmiddellijk reageerde en ons een upgrade gaf naar een andere kamer (superior) met nummer 409 in de andere vleugel. We vonden dit een heel klantvriendelijke actie. Deze kamer was mooi en ruim en redelijk geluidsdicht en had een klein balkon waar je de vogeltjes kan horen fluiten. Het ontbijt is redelijk uitgebreid. Doordat de ruimte heel groot is en het buffet ook, krijg je op het eerste zicht een gevoel dat het aanbod enorm is, maar eens aan het buffet zie je dat het nog meevalt. Veel keuze in sapjes en shakes wel. Vriendelijk personeel en een grote parking naast het gebouw. Al bij al een aangename beleving. In het nabijgelegen stadscentrum van Zeist zijn een aantal horecazaken. Utrecht ligt op ca 20 minuten rijden.
