Location Location Location. This is close to the bridge so easy access to everything you want to do esp if you want to watch the Matterhorn sunrise in Zermatt. Also shops are just there. Its not that noisy bc thats not a thing in Switzerland. Our heaters worked but we opened the windows still to get some air. The breakfast is also good. The lady was welcoming and smiling. Breakfast at the hotel helps esp if you are on a budget. Its 7-9 be on time. They are always on time here. They have cold cuts, cereals and breads. I liked it. I was skeptical at first because of the reviews but the room did what it supposed to for us. I want to be close to the action on a budget. I highly recommend if you are a couple travelling on a budget and always on the move to see the sites conveniently.

Positives, it is right on Main street, great location. Room was clean but small…. No elevator so be prepared to haul up luggage possibly 4 floors. No on site staff other than cleaning staff, just a phone to call for any needs.

The room is very clean and staff is very friendly. The hotel has no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. Large luggage can be a challenge. Breakfast is wonderful and fresh. Overall, the hotel is wonderful for traveler on a budget.

The room (3) was clean albeit small, but it was warm, had a balcony and was great for the night. The sound from above was noticeable, no acoustic insulation was evident. The maintenance wasn't great, the basin was cracked but these are minor issues, noise from outside was heard around 02:00 but this is due to the excelled location of the hotel, it's perfect for the town nightlife. I'd stay there again, self check-in was easy, there was nobody around, check out was just as easy...

We had room 14 and would have had view on the Matterhorn if conditions would have been better. Room confortable for three nights and very central. Very good value for money in Zermatt. Fernanda is a very nice person. Good breakfast. Only negative point for me, as a tall person, was the height of the ceiling in the shower.
