We stayed at the Waldhotel for two nights where we enjoyed hiking and the amazing scenic views of the Alps. Hotel had breathtaking views of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and updated. We did have a challenge figuring out all of the electronics to get the lights on and shades closed.

Apparently, this is a "lean luxury" hotel, which is something the staff should really explain to first-time guests. It turns out "lean" means no room phone, no room service, no fridge, no coffee/tea ..."
