Sunday Residence and SPA Split

"Staff all excellent, smiley and helpful. Breakfast was great. Great that the air conditioning in the room stayed on to let you come back to a cool room. Room extremely clean. Nice to have a balcony although it is shared with one other room. Room made up on third day - beds made and more toilet paper given, but not cleaned. Two issues - fridge does not function as a fridge and doesn’t cool. The hot water in the shower also runs out very quickly (after 2 mins) the next person then has to wait a while for it to be warm again. Great location and nice to have a small gym too, along with sauna and cold bath."

"Great location, the food was really good and the breakfast was amazing. Bed was super comfortable room was fine nothing special nothing bad, It had everything you could want. , The air conditioner worked amazingly- which was super important in the Croatian heat! Would I stay here again yes, would I recommend it yes The staff makes this hotel exceptional there was nothing too small or too big to ask."

"Sandra was a brilliant host. Very clear and took me around the whole property being super friendly. She kept in touch and supported me when checking out. The property was quiet, peaceful, I had a lovely balcony, where I sat and had pizza from Medini and a beer. The bedding and sofa were super clean and fresh and I had lots of clean and fresh towels and the aircon was really strong and cool which I needed in the hot summer. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower was hot and excellent. This is a lovely homey hub to use for walks down to Znjan beach and around the area. Also easy to get in and out of town and to other beaches - Ubers and food delivery found me easily. Great place"

"Room was on 2nd floor, very clean and shared kitchen on every floor. Staff cleans rooms every 2nd day. Kitchen had everything you needed, including plates, pans, even cooking oil and salt. Was a bit tricky with electric cooker as I have gas (ask Reception for details). Breakfast in canteen costs around 9eur, Lunch 13eur and dinner 18eur-we had dinner first night only (not worth the money in my opinion). Lots of grocery stores around close by and bakery right next door (to the building and Tommy supermarket). They are short of staff-the security covers Reception at night (the first night we stayed he made a mistake and gave keys to our room to someone else). Luckily, it was a decent man, he opened the door but didn't walk in. Must have realized it was not vacant when I switched lights on. It was a bit scary but I am sure it was one-off. I was not terrified as police always at reception or outside. Though it was a bit scary when you sleep in new accommodation and wake up from the key turning in your door )) Not too far from town - around 35min walk, but we always used Uber (around 6eur) as I was with young child. Staff is nice but did not feel they are going extra mile when asked a question. There were a few young sport groups came to compete-they were noisy practicing outside for 2 nights. Also first night young people were noisy on our floor but it was ok for us. I guess it depends who has booked at same time you are staying. Bottom line-you get what you paid for."

"The apartment was great overall, it had everything we needed and the air conditioning was a major plus! The location is good for the water park, beach and restaurants. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly, helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend :)"

"Nice apartment with facilities allowing you to prepare and store your own food if you want. Great restaurants in the area and a supermarket so all choices covered. We had breakfast included which was very good buffet and the hotel had a decent restaurant too but we ate out locally and had a trip to Split which is a must see, stunning."

"The hotel is very well located and a very short walk from the beach. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are big. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Now the negatives- only one bottle of water provided at the beginning of the stay which is not replaced. I found this unusual for a 4 start hotel. The pool is nice but quite cold and to use the sauna you have to inform reception 30mins in advance. All in all a good stay but I would have preferred more variety in food at breakfast and at the restaurant."
