"Lovely decor"

"The view was beautiful and the staff were lovely. The hallways look a little rough. When I asked for a hairdryer, they told me to come get it. When I got down there the said they’d bring one up in 5 min. They then brought me a broken one. I had to go back downstairs again and they said they’d try to track down another one. They brought me back the broken one and said just to leave it turned on and plug it in like that it’ll work fine. When I’m paying good money for a beautiful hotel room with a beautiful view, I would expect that they would be able to provide me a hairdryer. Just a minor thing. "

"There was a bug on hotels.com website...I ended up booking 1 night for 2 rooms same date (overlap) never hotels.com sent me a warning...like you are booking 2 rooms dame nights in different cities... the hotel did NOT understand the mistake..never contacted me...flagged ma as a NO SHOW...ended up having to book for an extra night...and guss what? our rooms were FILLED with MILDEW (hongo) smelled bad...I have pictures...ended up being very expensive and we thought we had a cold ..it is the mildew effect...sneezing, coughing and needing to blow our noses...well... the management went away with no option to contact them and hided behind their policies...my GOD you need to be HUMAN and understand the mistake ans modify the booking... this was stressful and we are very unhappy with the room ...reception clerk and other than managemnt that hide are good people...it is not their fault so we gave them tip but I will NEVER come back here again there are so many other hotels near by...so please be aware your health is more important thant the price... I will modify the review IF they accept to refune me the first night"

"WiFi didn’t work in my room for the entire stay, which also meant no TV service. The issue wasn’t resolved in time to make my stay comfortable. I’m very disappointed with the customer support and how the situation was handled. I wouldn’t recommend this place or consider staying here again, there are definitely better options nearby. "

"Superb location. A short walk to restaurants, cafes, shops the central park/cathedral, and the malecon. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, and it and the shower might be a tight fit for a larger person. Very large and plush towels. The wifi in the room was strong. No elevator, and the central stairs are a bit narrow for moving luggage up and down. This hotel has a lovely rooftop patio, part of it open, and part covered. A small unheated pool about the size of a large hot tub, and lots of seating areas. My only complaint about this hotel was internal ambient noise from the central stairway and adjacent rooms. If other guests chose not to be quiet while using the stairs, the patio area, or while in their rooms, this was readily apparent. However, generally after 10 pm the hotel was very quiet, with negligible noise overnight. In spite of this one issue, I would stay in this hotel again in future. "
