"We liked the property. It was close to the ocean and hearing the ocean rise and fall was wonderful for sleeping and meditation. I did not like being placed on the 20th floor of the hotel. I'm aversive to heights. The room was fine and we had a partial view of the ocean. But we also had a good view of the favela bored into the mountainside behind the hotel. The favelas are unfortunate living areas of the poor and dispossessed, and this bothered me somewhat. The food was great. The restaurants...

"The location is excellent. A much quieter section of Copcabana.Staff at very good and helpful. Metro about 20min walk. Good places to eat near by. Would definitely stay here again. They do put a charge on your credit card at check in rather than just take card details. Would have been helpful to know this before hand as could have been a problem if not enough credit."

"Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!"

"The property is a perfect small hotel, wish it had bigger pool/ bar . Buy the corner and have a decent restaurant. Sunday market was nice to encounter. "

"The hotel was nice but the staff wasn’t responsive. The pull out need didn’t have any sheets and there were none to be found in the room. I tried calling housekeeping and front desk several times but nobody answered. Finally I went down and asked in person and the assured me they’d sent someone up. Waited for over 30 minutes and nobody ever showed. Finally we were so tired from our days adventures we just stole a sheet from the other bed."

"En general el hotel esta bien. Las toallas viejas y la limpieza del baño/ducha no se realiza debidamente, las camas/cuarto muy bien. Desayuno el mismo de siempre todos los dias. Ubicacion excelente y el servicio excelente. Los 2 unicos detalles son las toallas que son fatales, viejas y en mal estado y la limpieza del baño: tiene hongo de mal lavado por muchos lugares. "
