Very handy location to the train station and public transport network as there is a tram stop outside the hotel. We stayed here for the women's euros and could walk to letzigrande stadium.

Room was basic but clean. Two very basic beds and mattress. The shower is in the room with toilet in a closet. Tram was across the street. Good location with several dining options close by. Parking is available right outside in garage. Breakfast is available for 11 francs at check in of 15 day of.

We had a pleasant stay at this ibis budget hotel. Some people may be put off by the hotel's 1 star rating, however that doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. It’s very cosy, the rooms are modern and comfortable and if you don’t mind the shower and sink being in the same room as the bed then it is perfect hotel in a budget.

Get what you pay for

Knew what we were getting ourselves into when we booked this but it's very basic. Don't get me wrong, clean, tidy, nice staff and friendly, but rooms feel a bit clinical and the whole shower, sink set up is random. Location wise is good for the tram and have access to the other local hotels for a drink etc so if you're just wanting somewhere to rest your head, check it out. I wouldn't say in any of the Ibis budget hotels again though. They're not for me.

A budget hotel like that is probably not what we would pick normally, however, given our agenda in Switzerland and the cost of the country we decided to give it a go. We were both pleasantly surprised the room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was exceptional.

Great location, just outside the city centre but had a good tram connection Room was clean and fairly comfortable, but it would be nice to have more than one pillow thickness as it was too flat for one of us and too thick for the other person
