Good price!

Ok Hotel i bit from the train station i Zurich but you can easily go there by tram. Good price and the self check in works good but it was a little bit hard to lock and unlock the door.

Worst hotel in Zurich

It was one of the worst stays I ever had. We arrived during the self check in times and got the door codes in advance. When we opened the box, the key was missing. We tried to call the service Hotline several times at 8 o clock (during service times) nobody picked up. After half an hour, somebody called back, giving us the code from another box to finally get in. When we arrived at the roomwe had to recognize a smell from smoke in the room everywhere. We ordered two single beds and got an queen bed instead. The community rooms (kitchen, toilet, rooptop) were in a very bad stahpe. It was smelling everywhere, ashtrays full of cigarretes, and the furniture and cupboards were broken. Please don't belive the pictures, I have stayed in a lot of hostels and group dorms and have never seen something like that. We tried to reach the holtine during the day and wrote a lot of emails. No reply, nothing. I am so disappointed that something like this is still listed on hotels.com and must decide next time using this Plattform instead others. It was so worse that we leaved the place and stayed at a friends place.

Da es ein Self-Check-In ist, ist logischerweise niemand vor Ort. Dass aber "kein Anschluss unter dieser Rufnummer" erklingt, wenn man die für Fragen angegebene Nummer wählt, geht gar nicht. Und wenn im Angebot steht, "alle Zimmer mit Kabelfernsehen", dann erwarte ich Kabelfernsehen mit den gängigen, landesüblichen Programmen, und nicht Satelit (nur arabische und osteuropäische Sender). Immerhin sind die Zimmer gross, recht sauber (müffelt zwar trotzdem), und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Mal für eine Nacht ist es also ok, einen längeren Aufenthalt möchte ich da aber sicher nicht verbringen.

The room was spacious, had a mini fridge, desk and hanging space which was good. The window was however broken so wouldn't close which let in alot of noise, the pillows were very large (like 3 normal pillows thick) which made it uncomfortable to sleep on them, and we found a bra next to the bed so not sure how well the room was cleaned for that to have been left there. The bathrooms were modern and well kept. Check in using the key lock was easy, however we weren't advised our room number and it wasn't explained that the number on the key was the combined floor and room number, we thought it just didn't align to any room numbers. I did contact the after hours mobile who quickly responded to explain that. It might be worth explaining it in the check-in instruction though. Overall the stay was fine, the non positive points I mentioned weren't too bad so I would still recommend the hostel.

Ehemalige Büroraumetage, die in ein Hotel umgewandelt wurde - leider fehlte etwas Charme in den Zimmern. Ein Schreibtisch, Stuhl und Bett - der TV ungünstig angebracht um entspannt zu schauen. Es gab einen Kühlschrank, prima für heiße Tag

I liked the cost of this room. It's more of a dorm than a hotel. You shouldn't expect a full service hotel for the price. I didn't like that there was no staff or security available overnight. Luckily nothing happened while I was there, however noise disputes etc could easily escalate. I liked that the floor I was on the shower was private. The communication for checking in was horrible. I didn't get an email explaining to use a code for the lock box. When I sent message a couple days before check-in inquiring how I get my key, the response I got was for someone else's question. Really bizarre. Eventually called and luckily got a hold of someone who explained it to and gave me a code. Never received any promised emails with the code.

Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten beim Check-in. Als ich die Nr. anrief, um um Hilfe zu bitten, nahm niemand ab, obwohles erst 18 Uhr war und und eigentlich bis 23 Uhr jemand telefonisch hätte erreichbar sein müssen.

Petite complication à l'arrivée mais rien de méchant. Un jeune homme nous as bien aidé. Sinon chambre simple mais propre et en très bon état. Lits confortables et partie commune propre. Tram à proximité. Très bien pour séjour court et petit budget.

Don't stay here.

The staff is unhelpful and nearly impossible to reach if you have a problem. We did not get a key to the entrance door when we arrived and it took us 2h to get a hold of someone who could help us. It does not have a nice athmosphere and some of the rooms smelled like sweat. I would not go here again unless it was my only choice.

Mir wurde der falsche Schlüssel in der KeyBox hinterlegt, es war keiner erreichbar, sodass ich kurzfristig noch ein anderes Hotel buchen musste. Die Duschen und Toiletten sind häufig dreckig und auf dem Gang hängen komische Gestalten herum. Einige Gäste lassen ihre Türen offen und schauen laut Serien.

We’ve email the property earlier to inform our late check in. We also had try several time to contact the property a day before our arrival. But we’ve not received any response and info about how to self check in. As a result, We had to sleep outside the room / corridor. It was really disappointing.

3일 숙박료 결재 하고도 숙박 거부당한 사연

6월 27일 부터30일까지 3박 4일 숙소 이용 결재 했어요 .현지 숙소 도착전 24시간전에 이메일로 키박스 열쇠보관함 알려주기로 했는데 알려주지도 않았고 현지 도착하여 호스트에게 연락하여도 우리 전화받지 않았습니다.. 절대 절대 이용하지 마세요 우리가 노숙하게 되자 숙박지 이용하고 있던 외국인이 호스트를 알고 있다며 대신 전화 하여 열쇠 보관함 위치와 열쇠를 받아 주겠다고 하여 도와주었고 그 외국인인 분의 전화는 호스트가 받더군요.. 4인실을 예약 했는데 2인실 방을 주어 2명은 방바닥에 누워 잤어요 이럴수가 있습니까? 호스트는 골탕먹이려고 현지 도착하여도 방열쇠 키있는곳 위치도 알려주지않고 우리 전화도 받지않고 3일 머물면서 호텔주(잔 타르크)에게 여러번 전화하여도 받지 않았습니다 이건 계약 위받이고 정신적 충격은 이루 말할수 없습니다 숙박료 결재 하고도 우리를 노숙하라고 골탕먹였습니다 예약 고지 위반입니다..호텔스 컴 에서는 저희가 결재한 금액418.326원 돌려받게 해주시고 정신적 물적 피해 보상금도 청구해서 받게 해주시는게 당연한 일입니다 정말 정말로 눈물날정도로 억울하고 고생했습니다,,, 이런경우가 어디인나요? 세상에 이런 경우가 어디 있나요?

I won’t stay again

Transport wise is not too bad. Trams and buses are just few hundred meters away. The room I got was bad. Both the pillow and towers provided were stained. No bedsheet provided. Housekeeping is not included and must pay extra to get room cleaned. TV does not work at all.

The lighting in the room was bad and there is no plug by the bed and the bed was small and soft with bad ventilation in the room during a hot afternoon summer. Also the tv doesn't work and the cupboard felt like it were falling apart. There's only one WC in the whole floor and 3 showers.

The property is better than expected, room is big and the bed is cleaned (clean sheets and towels) But the room is not cleaned as I found a bottle lying behind the door. And the shared bathroom is infested with drain mites. The kitchen is so -so (kettle is clean to use) but the sponge is not changed for so many days it has changed in colour. Cannot fault the location for this price.
