Ford Island Adventure Vacations

My stay at this hotel was disappointing because of the poor service. At the restaurant, Molly was not a good server. My salad arrived missing several ingredients that were clearly listed on the menu, and no one explained or corrected the mistake. The valet parking experience was also frustrating. Even though there were parking spaces available, I was told the valet was full. Instead, I was directed to park at the Hyatt parking garage, which is about 10 blocks away from the Wayfinder Hotel. Having to walk that distance after paying for a hotel stay was unacceptable. The front desk staff provided very limited information. Most of the time, I had to find answers on my own because they were not very helpful. The best part of my stay was definitely the beds—they were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. A special thank you to the Housekeeping Department—well done! The room was always clean, well-maintained, and they did an excellent job throughout my stay. It’s a shame that such comfortable accommodations and excellent housekeeping were overshadowed by the unfriendly and unhelpful attitude of other staff members.

Excellent staff and facilities. Pool and restaurant services were top notch. Friendly and helpful at every turn. A little limited with options for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. Dolphin pool was entertaining and educational. Very peaceful alternative to downtown Waikiki.

This was an ideal luxury hotel, if you can afford it, you’d be hard pressed to find anything better on the island.
