Panay Island All inclusive Vacations

Overall I could not fault the staff who were all lovely and the room was very comfortable. However… I came for a relaxing stay and I didn’t really get this, the pools were over run with screaming kids (normally I wouldn’t have a problem with kids playing but in a small pool screaming for no reason wasn’t a very relaxing atmosphere), who also found it funny to splash people on the sun loungers with no attempt of control by life guards. Breakfast was also disappointing with lukewarm food, dinner was better but then I got food poisoning in the middle of the night twice which could have only been from this food as I hadn’t eaten anywhere else. Additionally, on my last day there was some Halloween event which meant being forced to board a shuttle to a different venue to be served basically the exact same mediocre food. The beach was nice if a little windy but the beach facilities including sun loungers and parasols, were disappointing. Finally, I thought I would take advantage of the onsite spa for a massage, while this was ok I was left waiting for nearly 45 minutes for a therapist to turn up despite having pre-booked, which very much took away from the relaxed experience I was expecting. All in all I wouldn’t recommend staying here and I certainly won’t be back.

Quiet and peaceful place, just a little far away to the beach

The hotel itself was beautiful Great amenities Wonderful staff Great food The only thing on our last night I suddenly woke up with something that smells like urine. I dialed 0 for assistance but no one picked up. I eventually went to the front desk to let them know about that “urine smell”. To be fair they immediately rectified the problem—apparently it was coming from the air vent. Also they could have provided more boxes of tissue and hand soaps for 5 guests. A very minor detail.
