We were there in summer. It felt a bit overrated. Some areas clearly needed maintenance but it might be because its the lower season. Next time I would rather stay in one of the smaller villages around davos.

Excellent property , staff is very helpful and Hotel does give a palatial feel. Rooms could be larger considering the location. Breakfast could be better although very good. The hotel is well located and Engelberg is a good peacefull town.
Overall enjoyed the stay very much.

Great location. Not sure if everywhere in Switzerland is like this; This is the only place we stayed. We were only there for two days. But we didn’t like that we couldn’t control the room temperature from the room. I really like the in room coffee maker.
