Excellent Hotel staffs.

I was in Asia for a month and this was the worst hotel i stayed in, by far. It was listed as 4 star. It had no concierge. Well, it had a desk but when i asked they said no more concierge. Once i saw someone there, a staff member and he waved me to the front desk. The lobby is empty, only a few seats and nothing else. There is seating to the left and it is cordonned off. Front desk staff were ok at check in (not great) and were totally unhelpful if i had any questions. I asked for a suggestion of a Korean restaurant. The front desk staff said "McDonalds" and laughed. I told him i didn't have cash and he gave me directions to a street market that didn't take credit card. The room itself was ok, but old looking. It was the style where you have to put your keycard in for electricity and they wouldn't give me two. There was no easily reachable outlet next to the bed, which i needed. There was no real desk. Just a shelf above the tv with a chair in front. the shelf was high, and the chair lower than normal so i had shoulder pain after doing computer work. this was an EXPENSIVE hotel and totally not worth it. the only thing it has going for it is location. Would definitely not stay there again, and by their attitiude, they won't miss me...

Major issue is that the restaurants are not available for guests - booked for long periods of times with events or not open and not much in the area around the hotel. So good luck eating at dinner time or lunch time.

From the arrival to the departure, there is not one area we didn't enjoy during our short stay. My wife and I had a two week vacation in Korea, and Art Paradiso was the last hotel we stayed before returning to the U.S. It turned out to be the best choice I had made for the entire trip. We had a large number of luggages with us in addition to 2 large boxes, and the staff was more than happy to carry them from the shuttle bus drop area to our room. The room had a variety of "wow" factors and was as impressive as I hoped it would be. The hospitality shown by the entire staff was second to none, and my wife said she wanted to stay longer (she doesn't say this often at all). I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone who's planning to visit Korea. A big thank you to all the staff members.

This hotel was conveniently located, generally clean, easy to access and had comfortable beds but the room layout was very strange in a way that made the space feel almost too small for 2 people with large luggage bags. Our A/c also didn’t seem to be working until our last night, so we cracked a window which was nice but just a little noisy since the hotel is on a main road. The rooftop was a really nice touch with a great view of Seoul Tower and the bar/ lounge looked cool, although we didn’t have any food/ drink there. Overall, it was nice 5 night stay at this hotel if we had to stay in Myeongdong again
