Berchtesgaden Alps Kid friendly Vacations

I was assigned to a real big suite with a separate sitting area and a wonderful king size bed. The drain in both, the shower and the sink were super slow that at one point only one of us took a shower and the other person had to wait for over 45 minutes before the water went down the drain. The casino has a rundown feel but since I was not there to gamble it didn't matter. At a casino bar I ordered a drink that was so watered down that it tasted bad. I will probably stay there again in the future just because I really loved the suite. I will stay away from the bar, though.

This hotel alluded to a renovation in signage and an email, but I saw nothing updated yet. Our room was pretty run down and the light colored carpet leading to the elevator was super stained, and that entire area was smelly. Our bathroom had a strong mildew smell in the shower curtain and towels, and the rug had not been vacuumed thoroughly. The location was good, and it was convenient to unload our car out front but I won’t stay here again. I come to NY regularly and I’ve tried many hotels. If you care about value and having a respite from the city’s grime, I would take your money elsewhere.

For a luxury hotel, would have liked to check in with a person, Never spoke to anyone, did everything at a kiosk. Also, was charge for a snak in the room, when i did not eat anything……after i moved one of the snacks on the counter looking for a tablet there was a sign for …..found it on the other side of room….ugh!!!! and read that we should not touch at all…….then read that if we had leftovers we could not have kept in frig in room. We had a great meal at Jean and George’s….but could not take any leftovers…..lastly no ice bucket in room….. Now, the Spa was amazing!!!!
