Tai O Pet-friendly Vacations

The room is very rundown. Kitchen cabinet missing 1 door, toilet ventilation too loud. The whole room needs to be refurbished badly. The FOH is very helpful. But the coffee house place where we had our breakfast, was so-so only.

Nice stay with a wonderful view

The joining rooms were actually larger than you'd normally find in HK - and that was great. The location and pricing can't be beat. The afternoon happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff was awesome. But either pre-book the breakfast, or skip it (and it's not really worth the price anyway). We tried to buy breakfast one day during our stay. It was a complete nightmare. The staff at breakfast knew the price, but didn't know how to collect the payment. There's no option to pay there or to charge it to your room. We tried to figure it out with them for a while before they said we needed to go to the lobby and pre-book before we could eat (by then, the 4- and 6-year-olds were losing their minds). We decided to skip it and leave and find food elsewhere, but they let us eat instead. But as soon as you have breakfast, you'll then be forced to go to the reception desk immediately to settle the bill. Just a clusterf*. We didn't make this mistake again - we just skipped it every day with so many great choices all within walking distance.

The hotel is only about 25 minutes drive from the airport. It’s located next to a sandy beach and a private yacht club. It’s a little bit remote but taxi is quite cheap, so travelling to central Hong Kong is not a problem. The seaview room is spacious and has a nice view of the yacht club, sea front, swimming pool and garden. The fitting and fixtures are a bit dated. The cleaning is ok but can be better - the interior of the cupboards and wardrobe is very dusty and seems to be never cleaned. Breakfast is good but repetitive. Staff members are very friendly, polite and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Perfect in every aspect from the staff to the cleaness of the facilities. I couldn't find a single thing wrong. This place is perfect in my view. Most definitely stay here again.
