The hotel is close to City Hall station (very walkable). Appreciated the check in staff finding us a room early as we had experienced a gruelling flight from London. The room was spacious and user friendly but not a fan of roller blinds in shower cubicles as they went too far down and sat in the water retaining moisture. This probably added to the musty, mouldy smell that hit you as you entered the room. I’m sure this would be a problem for a lot of places considering the humidity and heat in Singapore. Breakfast was average. The layout is confusing and the options are basic but enough to get your day started. House keeping was very helpful and promptly provided extra tea etc when requested. Great location to base your stay.

Exceptional stay – Beautiful property, perfect location, and outstanding service from Airi! We booked Sofitel Singapore City Centre last minute after checking into a different hotel and realizing it wasn’t quite right for our anniversary trip. What a blessing in disguise—this hotel exceeded all expectations and became one of the highlights of our entire journey, which also included KL and Langkawi. The property itself is stunning—modern, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and luxuriously comfortable. We especially appreciated the lush bedding, high-end amenities, and floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. Everything feels polished and peaceful, a true urban oasis. The location is unbeatable—right above Tanjong Pagar MRT station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. There are also plenty of great cafes, restaurants, and hawker stalls nearby, and it’s just a short walk or quick ride to Marina Bay, Chinatown, and the CBD. But what truly set this stay apart was the outstanding service, especially from Airi at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary special. From warm greetings to thoughtful personal touches, Airi made us feel truly cared for. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression—we honestly can’t thank her enough. We only stayed two nights, but we wish it had been longer. Breakfast was amazing and can’t beat the location with the MRT downstairs.

Very nice, super clean bathroom with tub. Starbucks close. Mall 1/2 a block away with reasonable priced restaurants to high end dining. MRT station close and another one 7 minutes walk.
