The hotel is dated, Japan 1970/Deco, and the rooms/bathrooms are small. Reception staff's ability in English is limited. The location may be central but not appealing. We overnighted for the Naoshima ferry. A better choice for this purpose is JR Clement which is across the street from the ferry and the station.

Superb room, fantastic food and service. Great Onsens. Very friendly and helpful staff especially in the car park and restaurant.
Highly recommend to anybody and we hope to return soon.

Whenever I can’t decide where to stay, Dormy Inn is always a safe and satisfying choice. The environment is cosy, warm, and comfortable. Complimentary late-night noodles from the restaurant and free ice cream outside the hot spring are thoughtful touches that make the stay even more enjoyable.
Takamatsu itself didn’t particularly surprise me, but staying here felt like reuniting with an old friend.
