I’ve stayed at The Empire before and will again! The location is perfect and the rooftop pool and bar/restaurant with views is a quiet perfect spot. I wish the pool was open later and that it was accessible by elevator without going thru the restaurant. Just my own small preferences: 10/10 !

The rooms were large, definitely the only time a room in NYC was spacious. The mattress was very good and combined with the quietness, I slept very well

As always the staff at The W is always top tier!! Everyone is very kind and helpful. The rooms on the other hand are in a terrible state. Just think motel 6 but in Times Square. The shower in our room was literally just a shower curtain. Kind of like a prison shower.
