No view of beach due to seal birth. Entirely excusable & we approve. Could not have dinner either night as sold out due to small dining area. Would stay there again on subsequent visits.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was closed for two days, which was very disappointing. Our room was hot. I would not stay there again.

Would recommend this property to families and couples looking for a hotel near the beach and restaurants. I found it to be budget-friendly in Waikiki. It's within a block of the main Waikiki boardwalk that leads to the Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Statue. The parking structure is conveniently accessible from your room, eliminating the need to pass through the lobby. Loved the gym and the pool. There is also a nice, inexpensive gift shop right across the street called the DKTL gift shop. Parking was $50/night. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Recommended Ono Sushi. Would stay here again.

Lovely Hotel in a great location, the staff were always smiling and ready to help. Sky Bar was always somewhere nice to sit outside, situated on the 8th Floor. The restaurant (Sera) offered tasty food, well presented with friendly waitress and bar staff.

My wife and I traveled to Oahu and stayed at the Wavefinder for 4 days in April 2026. The Wayfinder is a quaint boutique hotel. Our room was cozyand decorated nicely. It was quiet and relaxing after a day of walking around Waikiki. My wife loved the pool area and spent several hours relaxing and reading by the pool. The bed was very comfortable, towels were nice. The food in the restaurant was great! My wife enjoyed the lei making class offered by the hotel. We felt safe walking around Waikiki even at night. The location of the hotel was perfect. We were close to everything we wanted to go to. We ubered to Pearl Harbor and spent almost a full day there. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family. Aloha!

Many of the staff members we encountered were cheerful and polite and made us feel very welcome at the resort. We greatly enjoyed meeting our travel friends in the spacious lobby, especially spending time by the two-story aquarium. The presentation about the fish and their history was a bonus. The fitness center and locker room were fully equipped and a great place to exercise and clean up. One evening, we were disappointed by a lack of hot water in our bathroom. We were unaware of any plumbing issues and felt that a notice for the floors affected should have been issued. Fortunately, the hot water was restored within a couple of hours. Our complaint was handled by a front desk employee, who made it possible for us to shower in an unused hotel room. All in all, we had a memorable, pleasant stay that embodied the aloha spirit.

So beautiful. Was not expecting an ocean view and we got a beautiful view of the ocean. Absolutely loved this resort.
