Staff were absolutely incredible. Without exception everyone was cheerful, helpful and hardworking.

Very convenient location. Great breakfast. Staffs were very helpful with transportation. This was our second year staying here and will return in the future.

This is my “go to” hotel when traveling for work in Hanoi. The staff know me and even when my flights are cancelled and I come in a day later at 11pm, they whisk me to my room quickly and assign me a very quiet room. This is like the 4th time I’ve stayed at this hotel as I much prefer this area rather than in the heart of the old quarter. It’s slightly quieter and the lake is only a 3 minute walk for those early morning walks when I’m jet lagged. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of variety and plenty of dragon fruit. Mr Do and his reception team are great and I always seriously appreciate all the little amenities offered. I used the rooftop bar for a client meeting and it worked out great. The evening staff remember me from previous trips and I appreciate all the care they take in worrying about me and asking where I’m going at 4:30 am ( gotta watch the Hanoians work out that early haha.) I also still like that there is the supermarket across the street and tons of shopping nearby. I guess I still like the cathedral neighborhood vs other areas. The gold shops are still exchanging money however the VP bank atm didn’t work with my US Capital one card. I’ll definitely be back in October! Thank you again Oriental Jade !

Frankly speaking this is a budget friendly hotel. Central to city so great for solo travelers on a budget. If you plan on spending any time in the room they are quite cramp. I was with one friend and it was too much. Staff are amazing and helpful but if you can splurge a bit I would.

The hotel was excellent in so many ways --- the old quarter location was perfect, the lobby and room were clean and attractive, the breakfast buffet was wonderful with a large variety of choices, but it was the STAFF that truly made it the best place to stay in Hanoi!! They were all so helpful,--- from accommodating my early check in after a long train ride, to arranging taxis, remembering the way I like my coffee in the restaurant, the bartenders in the lovely little sky bar, the cleaning staff, the reception personnel who really "saved" me when I was having an issue with my phone and needed a travel document printed.....I can't say enough good things about them all!! I have stayed here several times in the past two years, and conside it s true gem in the city. Highly recommend!

This hotel is best suited for short term visitors on vacation who want a great location in the old quarter. The staff is helpful, the room was clean and the bed super comfy. Short falls are that the facility, rooms and bath are dated. The breakfast is average by the city hotel standards. In short, great for singles/couples wanting a touch down space, but not well suited for those used to 5star accommodations or for business professionals.

It’s a nice hotel, good breakfast, clean rooms with nice friendly staff. Only issue is it’s a little further away from the old quarter but if you don’t mind taking a 20 minute drive then it’s good.
