Comfortable beds- Clean room and tub was awesome after a chilly day outside.

Excellent location and reasonable parking across the street.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was so friendly except for a few black jack dealers. We did a pool day at Kassie and really enjoyed the sandy beach style pool. I love staying at virgins. This one unfortunately didn’t have a commons club or really any good breakfast options but other than that it was a great experience. We want to come back when the spa is finished with construction.

The service felt less sharp and anticipatory than I expected at this level of hotel. Pool operations were disorganized—reservation system unclear, poor coordination.

We booked a Casita room for a 3 day weekend for our last trip before we have our first baby. I didn’t put any notes or anything on what we were there for, but when we checked in we were informed we had been upgraded to an oceanfront suite. We were blown away by this room. It was massive and had multiple balconies to sit on and enjoy the views. We ended up spending most of our time in the room because it was just the best. We did go to the adult pool and another quiet pool that were both very nice. Megan at the vista pool was great! We had breakfast at the Catalina kitchen a few times which was great. The room service was great. I do wish I had done a little more research and made reservations for the other restaurants on site as they were booked. Overall it was an amazing place and we were so thankful they upgraded us, we didn’t want to leave!

Great place, clean, very nice pool

The hotel room was nice. I did pay extra for a king suite and wind up not actually getting the suite so I did not like that but other than that, everything was good.

Short stay at Short Stories (2 nights). Great location across from the Farmers Market and the Grove. Nearby buses gave easy access to the museums and the tourist run near the Chinese Theatre. Hotel courtyard is very charming and atmospheric.
