Such a lovely modern hotel. Decent size room with a view over the station which my husband loved. Good comfortable bed and very clean indeed. Staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful. Great location right by the shinkansen and JR station as well as Kokura itself. Would stay again.

We got a big help from Mr Io Choka when we checked in, he is super friendly and helpful since we have quite many luggages and he helped us to deliver our luggages to our room; able to help us to look for nearby restaurants. Our room is big and clean.

I had a pleasant stay at APA Hotel Kokura Ekimae. The location is a major highlight—it’s about a 5-minute walk from Kokura Station, making it very convenient for getting around. It’s also close to popular spots like Kokura Castle and Tanga Market, which made sightseeing easy. The hotel operates largely on self-service, which may take a little getting used to, but everything is quite efficient. Even so, the staff are available and willing to assist when needed, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience and accessibility in Kokura.
