Not really any hotel amenities if you are looking for a restaurant or gym but great for a family stay. Spacious and clean rooms with a kitchenette. Vey quiet and cozy. Staff are so nice and helpful and stored our luggage before our late flight home, it was vey close to train station.

Property: GRAND MONday Asakusa (formerly MONday Apart Premium Asakusa) 2-16-5 Nishiasakusa, Taito City, Tokyo Room: 1bd Suite, with 10sqm balcony. This property was great all around. The staff was very nice, helpful, and respectful. The room was the perfect size to comfortably accommodate 5 of us (2 adults, 3 older kids). The location was perfect and well within walking distance to grocery stores to buy food to make for breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking supplies, small refrigerator, microwave, and a washer/dryer combo which all made the stay so comfortable and convenient. All around the property there is tons to explore and the Tawaramachi station is a couple minute walk away, as is the Senso-ji temple and direct train to the Sky Tower. Be ready for a lot of food choices, tucked away cafes, jazz bars, and shops. I highly recommend this location for bigger parties.

It's a bit of an uphill walk to the property from the station but once there there's a lovely Japanese garden on the hotel grounds. Quiet and serene surroundings.

Crazy good value. Place is brand new. Everything is incredibly clean. Shower is amazing. The room was massive. Great AC. All the appliances are new. Will absolutely stay here again. Not removing a star for this, but the keypad entry thing for the elevator is annoying - it's like the one thing they cheaped out on during the remodel and it makes no sense given the quality of everything else.

Overall can only rate it OK and not sure if would want to stay at this hotel if I do visit Nagoya again. Distance: ok ‘quite’ near to malls and Nagoya station, however if to drag luggage from station to hotel vice versa there is a challenge with the distance. Avoid underground walkway as is up and down stairs. Cleanliness: I was surprised on the hotel eco efforts, sure no cleaning to be done on daily and they will replace towels, provide the tea and bottled water. Do note the replaced new towels are placed inside plastic bag so not sure how this help with their eco claims. The ‘new’ towels are not that clean have spotted hair on the towels in the plastic bag 3 times during my 5 nights stay. Amenities are the very basic ones. Room: central aircon and super super hot, basically like no air ventilation. I was given a corner room facing the road and I must say sound proof very bad super noisy from the road traffic. The saving grace will be the staff at the reception, very helpful team.

Great location. They charge for make a bed for ¥700. No coffee pod or tea bag provided. If you are sensitive about the noise from train, this hotel is not a good option.

I thought “I’ll believe it when I see it. An onsen in Shinjuku!” But it was every bit an onsen. As well as the indoor and outdoor baths, the architecture was tasteful. It was very new and quiet. We stayed on a high floor with a very good view of the city scape. Very well appointed coin laundries with vending machines, ice and chilled water dispensers on three floors. I couldn’t have asked for better. There’s a 711 right over the road and decent traditional eateries and cafes nearby.
