Outstanding in every way!!

Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

The view was excellent I wish the Netflix would work though.

Spacious room, very clean, amenities options were great! Despite a few downsides (had to pay for all the amenities offered, like using tennis court, indoor relaxation pool, bikes etc. [fortunately they were not expensive]) we still give it a 10/10 for overall experience! We explored lots of the island and looked for different beaches however, not sure if it was just off- season, no beaches compared to the beauty of the one offered at the hotel - clean, scenic and calming. We loved our stay :)

Overall the stay was good. The hotel grounds are beautiful and it was a comfortable stay! The best part of this hotel was the spa, which was excellent. However, I must say that this hotel is currently no longer a 5-star hotel. But that could be fixed with renovations to the rooms. They are outdated and have visible stains on furniture and floor. If the hotel renovated the rooms it would certainly be a a 5-star hotel again.

One of the smallest Ritz compare to the other ones. There isn’t much to do, very limited amenities and no beach front. Though the hotel have free shuttle to the 2 near by beaches, I don’t think the prices really justified itself compare to the other ritz properties. I guess I was expecting more from it. It’s very far from everything

This was our first visit to Ishigaki. The hotel is a bit removed from the airport or sea port, but the sunrise and calm views more than make up for it. Staff is excellent!

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. I really appreciated that there were many laundry machines, as it got busy at times. Convenience store on the first floor with essentials and souvenirs was very helpful, too. The location is very close to Shuri-Jo, and I didn’t mind walking to the busy touristy area on Kokusai-dori, since I could also come back to a quiet room. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, though I didn’t use it. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, tea kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer and humidifier. Nice deep bath tub.
