Awesome staff with great communication. Quiet area in Kyoto and about 11 min walk to the station. Kitchen and washer/dryer were convenient and easy to use. Shower was also great with good water pressure.

The hotel is located right next to the train station, and subway stop. It was within walking distance to all the best shopping areas. Howeve it was not easy to find the railway platform to Nara and it was further than we had thought. Do prepare enough time for it even knowing the station is right there.

Not the greatest experience. Very crowded hotel. The worst part, was that the lobby was on the second floor, and you needed to take the escalator to get there. This led to a lot of congestion, so I’m not sure what the thinking was in terms of this design.
On top of that, the spa and laundry facilities were very crowded as well.
As for the room, it was modern, clean and spacious enough for 2. With that said, the wi-fi connection was quite poor which was disappointing.
Overall, if you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay… I would not recommend this hotel. Despite its polished look, it felt more like a university dormitory than a hotel.
