A little far from malls and restaurants but there’s a train station and bus stop couple blocks away which is manageable if it’s not so hot which is rarely if you’re there for summertime. The property is well maintained, the room we got was spacious with 2 full beds and a sectional that sleeps 2. The washer/dryer was a perfect addition specially if you’re sweating the while day and you dint want smelly clothes in your luggage LOL

Excellent hotel. Clean with decent sized room and incredible views. Hotel is on the 19th floor upwards. Restaurant at the top of the hotel is also excellent with amazing views. Highly recommended

Stayed here for a few days at the end of our trip. The location is excellent, right near Osaka Castle. We had a room with a view of the castle and river, and it was wonderful. The area is very quiet, and surrounded by other high end hotels, and business offices. The staff at the Otani is beyond attentive to your needs, and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. Rooms come with a nice sized soaking tub, and all toiletries one might need, including toothbrush and toothpaste. We arrived early, and were able to check in early at no extra cost. We were also surprised with a some sweets and a card in recognition of my birthday, which fell during our stay. We opted for a triple room, and each of us had our own bed, which was nice. There is a breakfast buffet available which is very convenient, and numerous boutiques, and restaurants to choose from. There's also a Family Mart and Mister Donut nearby, as well as other small coffee shops and eateries. We opted to have a fancy dinner to celebrate my birthday, at the Sakura restaurant, and it was by far one of the best fancy meals I have had in a long time. Worth the splurge, as it was pricier than anything we had during our trip. Will definitely go back to the Otani.
