Only had 1 minor bump at checkin with the tourism tax, but that was mostly due to the language barrier. Room was very nice and the hotel is very clean. The room is quite small, however. Breakfast assortment was delightful, exactly what I’d expect in Japan. Very glad I stayed here.

Hotel is clean and located in a nice area close to Hakata station. However almost every staff member struggles with English.
The amenities are also very limited amd the staff is unhelpful about it! We were asked by the staff to leave the hotel lobby at the time of checkout because they had other guests for a wedding! Not something you'd expect when you pay $1'000 per night to stay at a hotel!
This is partly because they have no dedicated space at the lobby for hotel guests and the wedding guests always get priority so be careful if you plan to use the hotel amenities.

It’s attached to the Canal City Mall, so really convenient to eat and shop. The only thing it’s lacking is free Onsen.
