We stayed at the Clarion a couple of times at the start and end of our trip. Main reason for selection is it’s close proximity to the train station. However we liked the hotel, as it is clean, modern, good amenities, a couple of bars, roof top restaurant, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast as mentioned many times is vast and plentiful, if not a bit crazy and overwhelming at the weekend as very busy. Overall a really good, central hotel and would recommend.

The hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk to the train station and steps away from the Munch museum and the Opera House. The breakfast was outstanding - a fantastic spread. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and although you can open a door (a bit) for some air - if the the temperature outside is 29C its hard to get the room to be less than 26C

Great location for an early morning train. Staff was very helpful with all of our requests!

The worst part about this place is that you eventually have to leave. It was the most delightful experience and I hope to be back. The saunas and experiences were 5 stars. Loved the pools, facilities, ritual experiences, and rooms. The bed felt like a cloud! The breakfast was delish. The well burger is the best burger I’ve ever had. Simply delightful.

Very convenient location and helpful staff, and great restaurant and bar. However, we were there during a few very hot days and the air-conditioning in the room was not able to keep us cool so we had to sleep with the windows open at night.

All in all a perfect budget friendly hotel in the heart of Oslo! With access to main entrance, luggage room and the hotellrom from the website. Just send e message on WhatsApp if you need something, and they answer immediately.
